Agreement

These terms govern use of the Caroufy website and application, operated by Caroufy. Creating an account or using the service means you agree to them. If you're using Caroufy on behalf of an organization, you're confirming you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

What the service does

Caroufy converts text you provide into a sequence of carousel slides, applies a brand kit you configure, and produces exports (PNG, PDF, or ZIP) that you download and post yourself. Caroufy does not publish to LinkedIn, Instagram, or any other platform on your behalf.

Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for activity that happens under your login. Tell us promptly at hello@trycaroufy.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Your content

You keep ownership of the text, files, and images you upload, and of the decks Caroufy generates from them. You're responsible for having the rights to any content you submit — including source articles you didn't write yourself. Don't submit content you don't have the right to use, or content that's illegal, infringing, or defamatory.

Billing and cancellation

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we don't offer prorated refunds for partial months. Prices may change with notice by email before your next renewal.

Acceptable use

Don't use Caroufy to generate or distribute content that infringes someone else's rights, spreads deliberate misinformation, or violates the terms of the platform you intend to post it to. Don't attempt to disrupt the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or resell access without a written agreement with us.

Service availability

We aim to keep Caroufy reliably available but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to pause the service for maintenance, and we'll try to give notice for anything non-urgent.

Disclaimers and liability

Caroufy is provided as-is. We work to keep the segmentation and layout logic reliable, but we don't guarantee that every generated slide will be free of errors — that's why every slide is editable before export. To the extent permitted by law, Caroufy isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. On closure, your content is handled as described in the privacy policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date, and where practical, notified by email.
