You already wrote the carousel.

It's just sitting in one long paragraph. Caroufy finds where an idea ends and the next begins, paces the reveal across a set of slides, and lays the result out in your brand — ready to post.

Illustration of five carousel slides fanned like a hand of cards. The third slide sits in front, showing a small index chip, a headline bar, and three lines of body text. Below the stack, a position indicator reads three of eight. 03 03 / 08
The split

How a paragraph becomes a deck

Five passes. Each one does a single, narrow job, in order, so you can see exactly where your words end and Caroufy's layout begins.

  1. 01/05

    Paste or import

Drop in raw text, upload a .docx or .md file, or hand it a public URL — Caroufy pulls the article body and discards the nav, ads, and comments around it.

  2. 02/05

    Find the breaks

The segmentation pass weighs sentence boundaries, heading structure, and list items more heavily than a fixed character count, looking for where a claim hands off to its support.

  3. 03/05

    Set the arc

Segments are ordered into a hook, a build, and a closer, inside the slide-count range you set — six for a quick hit, twenty for a full breakdown.

  4. 04/05

    Apply the kit

Your type pair, colors, logo mark, and platform-specific margins land on every slide automatically, using whichever brand kit is active for the draft.

  5. 05/05

    Edit, then export

Rewrite a line, swap a layout, drag a slide to a new spot, or delete one outright — then export a PNG set, a single PDF, or a ZIP with both.

The editor

Every slide, on its own

Reordering or rewriting one slide doesn't touch the rest of the deck. The kit stays applied; only what you changed deviates.

Brand kits

One kit. Every deck.

A brand kit is the small set of decisions you'd otherwise remake on every slide: a display face for headlines, a body face for supporting lines, up to four colors, where your logo mark sits, and how much margin the platform needs before it starts cropping corners on upload.

New drafts open against your default kit, so the first pass of a segmentation already carries your fonts and colors — before you've touched a single slide. Switch kits later and the whole deck re-flows into the new one without re-running the split.

A workspace can hold more than one kit, which matters if you manage carousels for more than one brand or client. Overriding a single slide's copy or layout doesn't detach it from its kit; only what you changed deviates, and the rest of the deck stays in sync.

Margins are stored per platform inside the kit, not per deck, because LinkedIn's document viewer and Instagram's carousel post crop corners differently. Set it once, and every export since respects both.

Questions

Before you paste something in

What can I paste in?

Plain text, a .docx or .md file, or a public URL to a blog post or newsletter issue. Caroufy fetches the article body from a URL and ignores navigation, ads, and comment threads around it.

How does it decide where one slide ends and the next begins?

The segmentation pass weighs heading breaks, sentence boundaries, and list structure more heavily than a fixed character count, looking for the point where a paragraph moves from a claim to its support, or from one idea to a contrasting one. You set a target slide-count range, and the arc pass fits the segments into it.

Can I fix a slide it gets wrong?

Yes — every slide is independently editable. Rewrite the text, change its layout, move it, or delete it outright. Editing one slide doesn't detach it from your brand kit or affect the slides around it.

What do I actually get when I export?

A PNG set sized for the platform you're posting to, a single PDF for LinkedIn's native document upload, or a ZIP containing both plus a text file with alt text for every slide.

Does Caroufy post the carousel for me?

No. Caroufy exports files; you post them yourself. We don't request publishing access to your LinkedIn or Instagram account.
